Tony Blair has added Serbia to the list of countries he is privately advising, it has been reported. It is understood he will counsel the current Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vuvic, who was once an outspoken critic of Mr Blair. The consulting role will come as a shock to many Serbians after Mr Blair backed Nato airstrikes on Serbia in 1999 during the Kosovo conflict. The ex-Prime Minister - who has built up a multi-million-pound consultancy business and is reputed to be worth lb100million - has amassed a fortune advising foreign governments. His previous consulting work includes states such as Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, which have faced allegations of human rights abuses. Official Serbian sources have confirmed that Tony Blair Associates has sealed a contract with their government, according to The Guardian. It is understood Mr Blair has visited the Serbian capital Belgrade several times over the past few months and was a guest at a lecture by his former press secretary, Alastair Campbell. Mr Vucic, who became prime minister last April, was a former member of Slobodan Milosevic's regime and was once banned from entering EU countries.
